Barrie's "Peter Pan" with the addition of a Thursday performance. Tickets are now on sale at www.westsidetheatreco.org."Our retelling of the beloved story is filled with childlike wonder and has a contemporary twist," said producer Tyson Dewsnup. "Adults and children alike are going to be delighted to rediscover these characters in new ways as a playground magically transforms into Neverland." The performances will be Thursday, August 2 through Saturday, August 4 and Monday, August 6 at 8:00 p.m. They will take place at Silverlake Amphitheater (just 15 minutes from the I-15 American Fork Main St. exit). Tickets are available online or at the entrance for just $8 ($6 for seniors 55 and up, students, and children 12 and under). Bring your entire family to visit Neverland, where children never grow up and adults learn all over again how to believe. J.M. Barrie's classic play is the everlasting account of how Wendy Darling and her brothers learn to fly, following Peter Pan and the fairy Tinker Bell from London to the mystical Neverland. There they befriend the Lost Boys and join them to outwit the devious Captain Hook and his gang of pirates. Discover a magical world filled with imagination, as the beloved story is told in exciting, unexpected ways! The remainder of the non-profit's second season includes the Tony-winning comedy "The 39 Steps" (November 2-5); the new musical with songs by Irving Berlin and Jerome Kern, "Rilla of Green Gables" (March 22-25, 2019); and the Gilbert and Sullivan favorite, "Pirates of Penzance" (June 28-July 1, 2019).
